The new Somerville facility consolidates the western operations into one location.
The 3-storey office building houses a large atrium allowing light to penetrate through the workspaces. Along with a mix of open and closed offices are support spaces, training and locker rooms, a large lunchroom, and a rooftop patio.
The 12,000 square foot shop has multiple services bays, vehicle lifts, cranes, a wash bay, and a parts warehouse. Overhead doors open both sides of the shop to the large 10.5 acre yard. A large array of solar panels cover the entire shop roof.
The reflectivity of glass, tile, and steel is contrasted by the warmth of wood within the shared areas, including the large feature wall in the main entry atrium. Colour is introduced into the space with furniture while the company branding is exhibited with red accents throughout.
